Events

On Friday, October 1, the Lock Haven University Youth04 chapter held the Political Spectacle on the front lawn of Russell Hall on the Lock Haven campus. At the event, Libertarian Congressional candidate Tom Martin spoke to the gathering and Betsy Summers, Libertarian State Senate candidate was also in attendance. The Political Spectacle also included the opportunity for students to request absentee ballots and obtain literature concerning various candidates.

I want you . . . or do I?

In recent months, the debate surrounding a national draft has intensified. I, as a young, Pennsylvania, student would be more likely to vote if both the Bush and Kerry campaigns issued a thorough and coherent official statement outlining their respective positions on the draft, including their views on deferments.
