Home to the poorest big city in the Unites States and one of the highest unemployment rates in the nation, Ohio's current economic outlook is grim. With poverty rates of 31.3 percent in Cleveland, 21.2 percent in Cincinnati, and 16.5 percent in Columbus, the state and its citizens are in desperate need of economic relief. I would be more likely to vote if the Bush and Kerry campaigns issued statements clearly explaining how their monetary policies will directly affect me and my family in the state of Ohio.
