Florida is a state that will most likely be decided by a small margin of voters, making young people a powerful and influential voting bloc. Florida Petition
The rising costs of college tuition rates have made it extremely difficult for young people in Florida to attend universities. This year alone there was a 7.5% increase for in-state undergraduates. I would be more likely to vote if the Bush and Kerry campaigns issued statements explaining how their education policies will directly affect me as a Florida student.
