Ashley is currently a senior at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio studying Political Science and Political Communication. At Ohio University, Ashley is an active member of the Ohio University Student Senate where she serves as the College of Arts & Sciences Senator and University Relations Director. She also sits on numerous university standing committees and has many other leadership positions in other organizations on campus. This upcoming school year, she will be sitting on the Senior Class Council.

Ashley's interest in politics deals with homeland security issues, terrorism, campaigns, and elections. She comes to Youth04 with a strong passion for researching the roles that youth in the United States are starting to have in elections and campaigns. Ashley has a lot of experience in election and campaigns and hopes to spread her passion to the youth in America.

Ashley will graduate from Ohio University June 2006 and plans on seeking a job for a government agency dealing with homeland security or terrorism issues.
